Founded at the beginning of 2024 to address the devastation from multiple genocides experienced by children all over the world, Sophia Fadila created Kids in Disadvantaged Zones (“KIDZ”). We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their circumstances. Founded with a vision to create lasting change in the lives of children living in disadvantaged areas, we are a nonprofit dedicated to providing access to healthy food, education, and mental health support.

In many communities around the world, children face daunting challenges from an early age. Poverty, food insecurity, lack of educational resources, and limited access to mental health services can hinder their growth and potential. Recognizing these barriers, we are driven by a deep sense of compassion and a firm commitment to make a difference.

Our mission is simple yet profound: to remove barriers to access and empower children to reach their full potential by addressing the fundamental needs that are essential for their growth and development. Through our multifaceted approach, we strive to create holistic solutions that nurture not only their bodies but also their minds and spirits.
